The pouring of fragrant water over the hands of elders is a symbol of paying respect and blessing good luck for the New Year. Taking place during the hottest period of the year, Songkran is a fun way to cool off. After the traditional water pouring ceremony, also known as Rod Nahm Dum Hua, the water throwing commences!
